Open Timecard Mini Platinum Edition is the industry-leading solution for synchronizing time across multiple devices in local and wide-scale settings. Adaptable and open-hardware-based, the product guarantees complete interoperability and maximum clock sync security.

The Platinum edition provides an all-in-one, out-of-the-box solution for clock sync.

Included in every box:

- Timebeat Riser card

- Timebeat GNSS module LEA-M8F

- Timebeat OCXO SiTIME expansion module SiT5811

- Intel i226 network card with Timebeat PPS breakout board

- Everything will be fully assembled

Optional:

- Timebeat software for nanosecond accurate PTP and NTP distribution will be preinstalled on the CM4 if selected.

- CM4 unit - minimum spec 2GB Memory and 8GB Storage (devices may vary based on availability, for a specific spec please get in touch).

- Timebeat AI Smart Sensor expansion board.

The PCIe carrier board can be used to get NMEA (time, position, navigation) and 1PPS in any server and can also be used as a standard CM4 carrier board.

It presents two serial ports in the operating system (standard Linux kernel ok, no custom drivers required):

- 1x to the U-blox module on the Timecard Mini, and

- 1x to the CM4 serial console (if present).

Plus you've got access to the in-band ethernet port in the CM4, microSD card etc.

The platinum edition comes with the SiTIME SiT5721 for 5-10ppb holdover capabilities making the Timecard Mini one of the most cost-effective solutions for flexible, versatile, and reliable nanosecond synchronisation.

The SiTime SiT5721 is the industry’s smallest Stratum 3E OCXO with ±5 ppb frequency stability. You simply will not find better performance in a smaller footprint anywhere - it is the current benchmark in high-end clock miniaturisation.

This module can be disciplined using I2C and is fully compatible with the free Timebeat clock synchronisation software.

The expansion module has an independent power regulator and is engineered to provide the absolute best dynamic performance. Leveraging SiTime’s unique DualMEMS™ and TurboCompensation™ temperature sensing technology, the OCXO delivers the most stable timing in the presence of environmental stressors such as airflow, temperature perturbation, vibration, shock, and electromagnetic interference (EMI).
