This smart sensor expansion module uses self-learning AI and includes a 32-bit microcontroller, 6-axis IMU, pressure, humidity, and temperature sensors, a gas sensor that can detect VOCs, VSCs, and other gases, and even a digital ambient light sensor. With the BME AI Studio software, users can develop a variety of powerful functionalities with the BME688 and BMM350 sensors.

1) BHI260AP is a self-learning AI smart sensor with integrated IMU including :
- A 32-bit programmable independent microcontroller with flash memory and open-source firmware
- A 6-axis IMU (based on MEMS technology) with
- 3-axis gyroscope
- 3-axis accelerometer

2) BME688 also has self-learning AI and a range of sensors including :
- Pressure sensor: 300-1000 hPa
- Humidity sensor: 0-100%
- Temperature sensor: -40 - 85c
- Gas sensor (this is so cool) which can detect among other things Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), volatile sulfur compounds (VSCs), and other gases such as hydrogen, carbon monoxide, acetone, ethanol, ethane, and isoprene in the parts-per-billion (ppb) range.
